Finds from New Mexico and Arizona

My wife and I recently went on a trip to Albuquerque and Phoenix.  I was able to find a lot of root beer and related items.  Here they are:

The Ma's was found in Albuquerque. I love the bottle topper.  Paid $35.00 for the six packa nd the topper.

I found several Barq's bottles I did not previous have.  I especially like the quart size.

Found this Hires bottle in one of the two Brass Armadillo Antique malls.

This Hires bottle I actually bought on eBay.

Got both of these candies in Old Town Albuquerque.

This is a glass sticker.  I paid $2.95 for it at one fleamarket. I then later say to of them for $39.95 each at another fleamarket.

I also found several root beers to drink that I had not previously tried.

Root Beer Cones and Gallon Jugs

Wax Cones of pure joy.

These cones are some of my most favorite things to find.  They are hard to find, but they are out there.  Most of these I got from a friend in Iowa.  I remember buying these at High School football games and using them as mega phones during the game.  Of course we just threw them away after the game.

Gallons of fun.

Who doesn't remember getting a gallon of your favorite root beer when you were a kid. We did not do it very often, but when we did it was great.  Here are the gallon jugs I have been able to pick up.

First Crock Bottle

I am way excited.  Today I found my first ever crock root beer bottle.  Dr. Swett's.  Found this in one of the Denver Antique Malls on South Broadway. I have been looking for one of these for many years.  Of course you can buy them on eBay, but I prefer the hunt. My thanks to whoever put this gem up for sale.  This is from the 1890s. Now one of my choicest treasures.
